Once our people join us, we continue to look after them. We have a wellbeing programme that ensures our people can achieve a healthy life-work balance. Our wellbeing manager meets each person every month to discuss any lifestyle issues and to agree an action plan where necessary. The plan may include one-to-one fitness training, group exercises, or more specific stress-reducing treatments. In the main offices in Newbury, people can work out in the gym (which specialises in functional training), join in with group exercises in the studio, or just relax in the juice bar. Whatever the issue, our dedicated wellbeing manager is available at all times.
We also focus on the professional development of all our people. When new people join Centrix, they bring a variety of skills and experience. We encourage them to undertake further training and education, and provide the necessary support and learning opportunities to allow them to develop both technical and non-technical skills. Managers agree formal development plans with their people, and provide mentoring and team development to help them successfully develop their careers.
